How Do I Get a Good Powerful Persuasive Essay Sample?

How Do I Get a Good Powerful Persuasive Essay Sample? One of the most common questions from young students when they first start their university experience is; how do I get a good, effective persuasive essay sample? The majority of universities tend to rely on their lecturers, so are we going to be better off with an internal lecturer who writes them for you or do we need to turn to external resources? The first thing that many students ask themselves is whether it is appropriate to use an essay sample that has been written by someone else. The fact is that some of the more popular texts that have come out recently are written in what are called; 'style' based styles which are not at all dissimilar to textbooks and many university text books. The real question is not so much 'is it right to use someone else's words', but rather 'do I know how to write mine?' This could be because the course syllabus hasn't fully explained the craft that this type of text should have, so it is often cov ered in one of the general subjects such as the 'History of Human Knowledge'. If you are worried about this, then you should look at how much time you can commit to learning the craft of writing and then trying to copy the work of others. In the case of academic writing, the famous quote by Winston Churchill that 'A person should write what he knows' refers to the fact that sometimes a very powerful idea has been brought forward and no one has the right to speak for that individual - hence if the individual wrote about it, it could help the rest of us to understand it. This is perhaps a better definition of what is meant by saying that you should write what you know rather than what you write - it is important to make a statement about the topic at hand, rather than trying to avoid controversial points and keep to a narrower topic. By taking the time to write and analyse your ideas in this way, you can write persuasively and therefore be better placed to win a debate and influence an audience. If you go outside of the classroom for the majority of your education, you will most likely see a lot of this on public places such as buses, so there is a very good chance that you will come across some ideas, information or views that you haven't heard before, and of course this can often be a case of you being able to show that you know something about something by using your knowledge, experience or expertise in a particular field. When you do this, it is vital that you include examples of why you are knowledgeable about it and include other examples so that you are more specific. In this regard, to be able to get the best out of persuasive essay samples, you need to build your own credibility in the eyes of readers. It is important to get permission to reproduce certain ideas from other people's work, so if you have a teaching assistant or another qualified member of staff who can give you permission, then this can be very useful. If you are looking for an external reso urce, then often the best one to use is a resource like an online textbook. This can be an excellent starting point for helping to write a very impressive persuasive essay sample.

Conclusively, Woolf’s use of pathos in her writing enabled her to present a clear tone, which contributed to the theme that death is inevitable. Next, Woolf employs imagery in her writing to further develop the theme. Specifically, Wolf uses imagery to capture the moth’s final moments in life. Woolf adds descriptive phrases such as â€Å"stiff or so awkward that he could only flutter to the bottom† and â€Å"he slipped from the wooden ledge and fell, fluttering his wings,† to encapsulate the moth’s initial difficulties of living. She creates a visual that enhances the moth’s struggle to survive; the moth continues to attempt to fly, but only meets difficulty. To expand on the idea that the moth is struggling, Woolf, herself in the essay, attempts to aid the moth’s in its dying struggle. She writes, â€Å"The helplessness of his attitude roused me. It flashed upon me that he was in difficulties; he could no longer raise himself; his legs struggled vainly.Show MoreRelatedRhetorical Analysis Of The Death Of The Moth And On Keeping A Notebook 1427 Words   |  6 Pages 19, September, 2014 9th Ni Device Use Analysis Rhetoric devices are often used by writers to clarify ideas, emphasize key points, or relate insights to the reader. A Clockwork Orange Moral freedom is one of the most if not the most important of any freedoms available to humans Essay Example For Students

A Clockwork Orange: Moral freedom is one of the most if not the most important of any freedoms available to humans Essay Moral freedom is one of the most if not the most important of any freedoms available to humans. Moral freedom is the ability to either choose to perform good or bad deeds or both. Totalitarian governments take away ones individual choice and thus, suppress and suffocate the soul. The setting in A Clockwork Orange is a general parallax to a totalitarian and oppressive government. Alex, the main character, is the representative of the common man, and his struggle in this type of government. In the novel, A Clockwork Orange, Anthony Burgess suggests that the importance of moral freedom be stressed even for criminals condemned by society. There was me, that is Alex, and my three droogs, that is Pete, Georgie, and Dimà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦.and we sat in the Korova milk bar making up our rassadooks what do with the evening1.1; ch. 1, this was a typical night of a nadsat or teenager. A bunch of hoodlums, going around committing acts of violence and crime, for they have moral freedom; which they choose to do bad. First they assault a young man in an alley, and then they go to this authors house, and vandalize it and rape his wife. But while at this house, they come across a book called A Clockwork Orange, and Alex reads about it: The attempt to impose upon man, a creature of growth and capable of sweetness, to ooze juicily at the last round the bearded lips of God, to attempt to impose, I say, laws and conditions appropriate to a mechanical creation1.21; ch. 2, at which he ironically laughs and tears up. After an eventful night like that, Alex goes home, Where I lived was with my dadda and mum in the flats of Municipal Flatblock 18A, between Kingsley Avenue and Wilsonway1.31; ch. 3. There he goes to his room, and turns on his stereo and his good side comes alive. His deep love for classical music like Mozart, Beethoven, and G.F. Handel, can be seen clearly. In the morning he decides not to go to school, and he ends up violently raping two devotchkas, again displaying his moral freedom to be bad. That same night, they try to rob an old psitsa that has a hundred cats living with her. Alex ends up killing the old lady, but he gets caught by the millicents and will be tried as an adult. While in court, Alex promotes his innocence and blames his companions. Where are the others? Where are my stinking traitorous droogs? One of my cursed grazhny bratties chained me on the glazzies. Get them before they get away. It was their idea, brothers. They like forced me to do it1.65; ch. 6. His pleas are futile as he gets sent away to the Staja, also known as a penitentiary. From that point on, Alex feels oppressed by the small cells full of older criminals. Although these brutal situations fit Alex, he realizes that only repentance and good behavior in the eyes of the officials   can release him from the jaws of justice. So in order to be viewed as a reforming criminal Alex turns to religion. He plays the music during religious ceremonies and becomes good friends with the prison chaplain. However Alexs intent on reforming was not a religious aspect but the quickest so he can get revenge on thee traitorous droogs and return to his thug life. He hears about a new technique, the Ludovico Technique, will get him out quickly. He talks to the chaplain, but the latter casts shadows about it by retorting: I must confess I share those doubts. .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .postImageUrl , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:hover , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:visited , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:active { border:0!important; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:active , .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6 .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u9e6ecd58e68465d131a597f57c8ec4b6:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: Animal Farm and 1984 Comparison EssayThe question is whether such a technique can really make a man good. Goodness comes from within 6655321. Goodness is something chosen. When a man cannot choose he ceases to be a man 2. 83; ch. 1. This does not deter Alex from the thought of an early release but only makes his desire for it greater. He is picked to be the first test suject of the new Ludovico technique. With the augmentation in population comes an increase in crime too, which brings new techniques to cure or fix the criminal mind. The minister says: The government cannot be concerned any longer with outmoded penalogical theories. Cram criminals together and see what happens. You get concentrated criminality, crime in the midst of punishmentà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦Kill the criminal reflex, thats all2. 92; ch. 2. Alex thinks its an ideal solution, to become good and free at the same time and get out quickly, nothing wrong with that at all. But he does not realize that his eagerness is blinding him from the oppression and he is being robbed of his moral freedom. The prison chaplain again tries to warn him: Very hard ethical questions are involvedà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦you are to be made into a good boy, 6655321. Never again will you have the desire to commit acts of violence or to offend in any way whatsoever against thee States Peace. I hope you take all that in. I hope you are absolutely clear in your own mind about thatà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦Is a man who chooses the bad perhaps in some way better than a man who has the good imposed on himà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦In choosing to be deprived of the ability to make an ethical choice, you have in a sense really chosen the good2. 95; ch. 3. The rehabilitation technique used upon Alex is that of responsive conditioning, with the use of drugs and films. This type of conditioning forces Alex to feel sick when confronted with evil sites or thoughts. Also included in this conditioning was the use of classical music, which Alex used to love, and now feels nausea when he hears it. After his fortnight, a two-week period at the institution, Alex seems to be cured, a situation is created where he is to use violence against an aggressive man, but he is unable to because of the conditioning. All the people attending the demonstration see how effective the new technique is, but only the chaplain of  the Staja sees the lack of moral freedom. He says: He has no real choice, has he? Self-interest, fear of physical pain, drove him to that grotesque act of self-abasement. Its insincerity was clearly to be seen. He ceases also to be a creature capable of moral choice 2. 126; ch. 7. The attending doctor simply replies: These are subtletiesà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦We are not concerned with motive, with higher ethics. We are concerned only with cutting down crime 2. 126; ch. 7. After being released Alex goes back home to Flatblock 18A, where surprisingly his parents think he has escaped and they now live with a new lodger; Unwanted Alex goes to the Public Biblio, where he is attacked by an elderly mob of vecks who recognized Alex as the one who ruined all the books on crystallography. The police come and break up the fray; to Alexs surprise he recognizes two of the millicents. One is Billyboy, his old nemesis, and the other is Dim, his old droog. They take him out to the country and beat the life out of him; he cannot defend himself because of the conditioning. After waking up from his beat-down, Alex walks to a nearby village and to a house, with the Home sign on it. He doesnt know that it is the house of the author of A Clockwork Orange, but he recognizes Alex and takes care of him. F. Alexander, the author and his friends want to make the public aware of the evils of this new Ludovico technique. Meanwhile Alex becomes mentally weak, and cannot take anymore of this trauma, he decides to commit suicide. He jumps out of a window, but does not dieà ¢Ã¢â€š ¬Ã‚ ¦3. 169; ch. 6. The fall has somehow cured and freed Alex from the effects of Ludovicos technique, he has again become his bad self again. .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .postImageUrl , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .centered-text-area { min-height: 80px; position: relative; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:hover , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:visited , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:active { border:0!important; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .clearfix:after { content: ""; display: table; clear: both; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c { display: block; transition: background-color 250ms; webkit-transition: background-color 250ms; width: 100%; opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #95A5A6; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:active , .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:hover { opacity: 1; transition: opacity 250ms; webkit-transition: opacity 250ms; background-color: #2C3E50; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .centered-text-area { width: 100%; position: relative ; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .ctaText { border-bottom: 0 solid #fff; color: #2980B9; font-size: 16px; font-weight: bold; margin: 0; padding: 0; text-decoration: underline; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .postTitle { color: #FFFFFF; font-size: 16px; font-weight: 600; margin: 0; padding: 0; width: 100%; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .ctaButton { background-color: #7F8C8D!important; color: #2980B9; border: none; border-radius: 3px; box-shadow: none; font-size: 14px; font-weight: bold; line-height: 26px; moz-border-radius: 3px; text-align: center; text-decoration: none; text-shadow: none; width: 80px; min-height: 80px; background: url(https://artscolumbia.org/wp-content/plugins/intelly-related-posts/assets/images/simple-arrow.png)no-repeat; position: absolute; right: 0; top: 0; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:hover .ctaButton { background-color: #34495E!important; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .centered-text { display: table; height: 80px; padding-left : 18px; top: 0; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c-content { display: table-cell; margin: 0; padding: 0; padding-right: 108px; position: relative; vertical-align: middle; width: 100%; } .u10e276d1234469e0f4bc31a0bd621b8c:after { content: ""; display: block; clear: both; } READ: The action of The Chosen unfolds in the immigrant community of Williamsburg, Brooklyn, against the backdrop of World War II EssayHe soon returns to his thug-habits, and a new group of droogs to surround him. It carries people as a critical component to be supervised, as it is strategized to help improve the businesses performance and also add value to an organization through a set key of processes which involve knowledge sharing. The company chosen for this research is on Red bull. Its sold by an Australian company which was introduced in the year 1987. It has the largest market share in terms of energy drinks in the world having billions of cans being sold worldwide. It was started by an entrepreneur who went by the name Dietrich who was inspired by an existing drink that he found that was being sold in Thailand whereby he took this idea incorporated his own ideologies into it so as it would suit the avid tastes of the westerners who he had an interest in targeting, thus in partnership with Chaleo they founded the what is Red bull. Its slogan was Red bull gives you wings which were before a lawsuit related to the advantages of utilising the drink which was around the period of 2014. It has a different approach to marketing schemes whereby rather than taking the most used route of mass marketing it generated its awareness and attracted clients by virtue of having proprietary sports events such as cliff diving world series, the Red bull air race and the crashed ice all these act as Red bulls arsenal in terms of commanding crowds and having customers enjoying the drink at such events thereby making it a force to reckon with as of here it breaks apart the norm that the energy drinks organizations have the capability to host and endorse events and also market its accessories properly with no problems Richter (2012). Red bulls strategy to be amongst the leading organisations is held by the fact that it associates itself with a lifestyle and a way of living in terms of having an adventurous spirit by doing so it puts an aggressive marketing process in play. this is so followed through by having their slogan Red bull gives you wings being a constant message broadcasted to the customers via many streams of communication in a broad integrated manner. The sweet taste and uniqueness of the energy drink set it apart from others as it sticks to its originality where it is still produced in Bangkok and shipped to the processing plants Richter (2012). This helps it maintain its authenticity by sticking to its roots of start and not changing the main moving parts. It is an appealing product that is linked to extreme sports as it is involved in a number of teams that help its brand image as it endorses the teams and their occasions capitalising on the customers of the sports. Lastly, effective marketing strategy which integrates it to an online TV channel that is used for marketing and also media strategy on how to capture a larger market size and how to expand conditionally. This strategy of having many acquisitions in the media numbers strengthens the brand image as it passes out the relevant marketing messages to the target segment.

Start Of The European Union Essays - Council Of Europe,

Start Of The European Union European Integration into a common market Europe today is tied together within a common market which enables it to work simultaneously on issues that arise upon its borders. This has not always the case. The phenomenon of a joint union is a recent thing brought on in the post war 1950s and is one of the greatest historical undertakings of the 20th century. The horrible economic instability and political divisions after the second World War were the main turn points for Wetern European counties to come together and work as a whole. Western Europe, divided by different language, culture, and religion , experienced long periods of tension, war and hostility due to these differences(Nugent,4). The first world war swept across Europe dividing Britain , France ,Russia and Italy against Germany , Austria-Hungary. This put horrible stress upon the European states and pulled the economies of these nations down to a low point . It was around this time that people were starting to feel a need of unification for Europe. In the 1930s The Briande plan, by Aristide Briande , came out in which he talked about how the peoples of Europe, if the y are to enjoy security and prosperity , must come together to establish a permenant regime of joint resposibilty for the rational organization of Europe(Leiden Univ). We see throughout the forties many individuals and groups stat responding to this sense of unity. In 1942, Italian secretary for the sociolist party of Italy declares unity, 1943 the European Federalist movement is formed, and in March 1944 a secret meeting in Geneva in which people from countries such as France Holland, Italy , Norway, Poland, Chechoslovakia and even memebers of the underground German Movement attend to speak on resistence to Nazi opression(THE WAY TO UNITY). This is seen as a first time in which European communities unite in a common struggle. In 1946 close to the end of the second World War Churchill spoke out at the University in Zurich where he announced We must build a kind of United States of Europe. If Europe is to be saved from infinite misery , and indeed from final doom, there must be this act of faith in the European family(Churchill,1946). Six countries originally rallied for this concept of a united Europe. The formation of these countries started coming together in the Treaty of Brussels 1948, where Netherlands Belgium , Luxembourg, and Britain signed a pact for collaboration in Economic, social and cultural affaires. It was around this time that the second World War was ending and its total collapse threatened the equilibrium of the world(Braudel,Unity in Europe). With the Marshall plan devised, important Statesmen, more than 800 members of parliament, trade union leaders , intellectuals and economist met at the Hague in May 1948,resulting in a congress of Europe. The task of this body goes on to establish a European assembly which advises measures that would bring political integration of Europe(THE WAY TO UNITY). With much success a year later January 1949 France Great Britain and Benelux countries decide to create a council of Europe and ask Denmark, Ireland, Italy, Norway and Switzerland to help(E.U WEBSITE). Eu rope had finally come a long way in terms of peaceful integration but a key factor was still holding this unification back and that was the bad relationship between France a Germany. Jean Monnet came forward and suggested to French prime minister, Robert Schuman and German chancellor, Konrad Adenauer, that a community of interest should be taken underway between the two countries. This was to become known as the European Coal and Steel Community and was welcomed by other countries as well. This treaty established the first European Community and opened the door to many more achievements between European countries. With the outbreak of Economic instability and tension arising throughout Europe during WW1 and WW2 , many figures came forth with proposals too heal the wounds that Europe has endured for hundreds of years. It was now time for this nation to come together and work with eachother in equilibrium so that devastating events could be prevented in the future. They wanted Economic advancement and peaceful trade between each other so that they

Once the management receives this information about changes taking place in the environment, they then assess, co-relate, extrapolate and interpreted the vent and signals to determine threats and opportunities. Now considering the following example which clearly depicts how threats and opportunities are determined through environmental analysis: Events opportunity(LCP) 130% I Impact (l) I probability(P) Threats/ I Competitors entrance in the Sales fall by I Reduction in sales by 3% I I market I Political insecurity I Sales fall by I Reduction in sales by 6% sales fall by 140% recession I I Economic I Reduction in sales by 10% I Napalms entrance into WTFO I Market expansion baby% 140% Increase in sales by 20% I Price war I Price fall by 30% I Reduction in sales by 9% Environmental analysis In every society there are plenty of unmet human needs. Aging Matter for Journal of Adolescent Health- myassignmenthelp

â€Å"Don’t Retire, Repurpose Your Life† age makes no difference, beautiful lines expresses in the book called ‘THE CHANGE ‘expressed that there is no end of anything whatever your age could be. Keep learning what you love to do, keep doing what to love to do. Life is such a wonderful blessing. There are those who have really tough challenges to deal with and you could help them. You could read in the library to small children. You might love art, so volunteer to talk about your favourite artist. If you enjoy visiting, go sit with a Vet, a person who has to be cared for, or makes it hard for the spouse or care giver to go out an hour alone. You can read to them, just visit, or really make yourself of help to others by just being there. As I love to work and increase knowledge, so after my age of 65 I still want to learn new theories and will work.  (Paul, 2014) I try to rejuvenate myself but I know I can’t do as I was doing during my adulthood. There are many factors that influenced me to achieve my goals. These factors are:  Ã‚   Health: My body is not that energetic what I feel from inside. I need to take regular intakes in order to maintain my energy level. I digestion capacity reduced day by day, eating junk food will not help me either. Medicines: I used to take medicines only when I am not well at my young age, even I refused to do so n recover automatically but now I need to take medicines on regular interval to keep myself ready to live routine life. Mind: Now my mind is mature and practical enough to understand every little thing, so as during my young age I never back step to accept challenges but now I am little bit afraid just because of my age factor. Another key to stay healthy and keep the heart healthy is by being happy always and keeping the stress away from me.    Chronic diseases: It depends upon the heredity or the living conditions of the person, some have one chronic disease while others have many. It could be followed after a test taken by the doctor which can show us the report as how can we keep ourself healthy and fit. Digestive system: Person is suffering from many digestive disorders about 40% of the time, they are like inability to eat proper diet, problem in swallowing, bleeding, constipation etc Eyesight: There is reduction in the ability of the person to read or locate objects. After 50 most of the people is suffering from presbiopia while after 80 by the cataract. Heart: Heart becomes less efficient comparatively which results in loss of stamina and can result into serious problems in future. However, to prevent this at first it is necessary to be aware with our health. I  am trying to bring some much needed changes in my life and settling into a new life style. I sleep properly, exercise in the proper amount and I eat only healthy food. I eat healthy. I take orange for fibre, vitamin C, low fat cheddar cheese and avocado slices for lunch with a low fat yogurt parfait with blueberries, strawberries and bananas for dessert. I forgot about the nuts for snacking, nuts are nutritious and supposed to contain the good kind of fat. I forgot about the two cups of veggie crunch sticks each afternoon – maybe I need to cut those veggie crunch sticks out. I’ll eat more high fibre and other foods that are supposed to help lower LDL. I am excited about the changes I’ve made. Its good time to revisit my goals which I have already set during my adulthood. As I was very busy in work and earning money, running in race of settling myself I left few things which I love to do. So I have already planned to do all these things after my retirement. I nvolving in activities like yoga and meditation will surely help in improving my mental health. I love to do yoga. Yoga is one of the best ways to focus ones mind and remove stress. When I am unable to visit my Yoga classes I practice at my home and meditate. As long the life goes on the period of learning extends each time with it. The stage of life is a classroom and we get to learn something or other throughout our life. Education is the most important pillar of the life of an individual. It gives direction to the human life. Even if I am 65years old I want to persue my dreams.I want to sudy, as we use to say that there is no age for the study. So I want to complete my degrees and education qualifications. Books are my best friends they never give worries they always give knowledge and spend time with the human being very sincerely. They never ditch with their thoughts.Although the of the age group 60-80 enjoys their life in the most richest manner but the main drawback is body failure and their depence on others. One of the biggest problems that can hamper achievement of goal is financial crisis. Even with the increase in aging the problem sustains. So a few steps can resolve the problem and help save a person from financial crisis..This age is usually associated with the time when many medical and pension benefits are available. It will help to gain the advantage of the situations that were analysed beforehand to prevent any further crisis. Before finally retiring from the job it is needed to ensure that the savings are enough to continue with the daily activities and the problems are can be solved with the saved money. . The monetary related issue is one of the essential issue that can occur at any point of life at any where. For this purpose it is necessary to understand and be ready for the situation that may arise in future. The benfits of the money saved while in the retirement period can prove out to be an advantageous decision made early in the life. Research shows that retirement doesn’t necessarily mean that the responsibilities towards the family come to an end. Although many retirees will still be remember the time when they first stop working. Increasingly, we were seeing retirement incomes being extended in ways that would not have seemed likely a generation ago. Numerous monetary dependants and multi-generational households are additional motives why saving as much as possible as early as possible, and seeking specialised economic advice, are vital for those preparing for retirement.Providing a financial support is very important but after retirement people used to get afraid of the situation as they will beable to provide the same helping hand to their family or not.   (Paul, 2014) Transportation helps the person to move from one place to another. The person who don’t have personal vehicle can easily move from one place to another during his past but after retirement moving through public bus or any other mode is not suitable even driving two wheeler is also not safe for the person. The person should have four wheeler in order to move, the maintanence of four wheeler is costly as compares to other mentioned modes and financially already the person is in risk. So having proper means of transport impacts highly on the fulfilment of family responsibilities. After considering all my financial issues I come up with various of the concerns regarding my decisions in life related to financial decision. Some of my plannings and check lists are listed below: Capital Preservation: Capital conservancy means security and protection. CDs, Treasury retreats and reserves bonds do pay interest, however they are all backed by the full confidence and credit. Cash reserves of insurance carrier is sometimes backed with annuities which causes the fund investor to become insolvent. Investment: Investment seeks as a mode of payment in the aging period. This might confront to some of the risks but the preferred utility stocks, corporate and municipal bonds brings up higher rates of income. In addition, annuities also provide income with guarantee and some restrictions offered inside the contract (Cussen, 2017). Planning: Planning is another significant decision that needs to be taken each time there is a need of such decisions. planning is important to be done in each process as it helps to understand the consequences and the profits that might be upcoming with the situation. there is a need with the planning in the period of aging as it will help to feature the solution before hand. Tax Reduction:  Tax reduction is itself explainable. there is simply   a goal to decrease the income levy bill of any of the investment policy being used. As if for a saving as growth investor for the the purpose of retirement. in such case it can be useful to use an â€Å"individual retirement account (IRA)† or a tax referred plan. annuities are also kind of tax-deferral plans (Cussen, 2017). Essay for admission to Common Application Example | Topics and Well Written Essays - 500 words

For admission to Common Application - Essay Example What started out as an absorbing past time metamorphosed into the ruling passion of my life. By the end of Middle School, I went on to make a score of different models of cars, including those with their own mini motors. I gravitated towards Physics as my favorite subject, complemented by my deep enjoyment of Mathematics, particularly Calculus. I did some independent study of Topology, and was amazed at the difference it made to my perception of objects. Based on my love of Physics and Mathematics, and my abiding interest in ‘How things work,’ the choice of Mechanical Engineering as my major in college was just a very natural progression. Coming from a family which deeply respects the value of education and entrepreneurship (my father graduated from the reputed Korea University and my mother operates a sushi bar), the other dominant trait in my personality is my determination to make a difference to my world. My favorite past time is watching Science documentary programs on television. I consider Science to be humanity’s greatest benefactor. Scientific inventions are the bedrock of life and civilization. I intend to be in the vanguard of scientific innovation. I believe in my capacity to make a tangible contribution to improving the living conditions of my society: that is my idea of a truly intelligent Mechanical Engineer. I want to become a Mechanical Engineer who applies his skills to develop applications which make a tremendous difference to the everyday life of every strata of society. It is my firm belief that only a rock-solid educational foundation can help me achieve my goal. I am keenly aware that the acquisition of genuine mechanical skills requires both the understanding of theory and its practical application. This is possible only in an environment which encourages hands-on-learning and innovation in the classroom. I believe that the Mechanical Engineering  Department at the University of Michigan Ann Arbor, will

Harms In Keeping Animals for Human Food Consumption Term Paper

Harms In Keeping Animals for Human Food Consumption - Term Paper Example This essay stresses that when people keep animals for food consumption, they create balance within the environment. The ecosystem needs to be balanced at all times through a cycle of the rearing and consumption of animals. Humans need to do their part by keeping animals for food just as the Lions help maintain the ecosystem of the Wild in check. Domestic animals such as cattle, poultry, and pigs play a primary role in the nourishment of the environment through their waste in terms of their droppings and carcasses. This paper makes a conclusion that it is wrong to compare animals with human beings, particularly when it comes to the keeping of animals for food. Unlike people who have compassion towards one another, animals depend solely on instinct even though they also feel pain. The pain of an animal cannot be compared to the pain of a human being. In addition, vegetarians and animal rights activists should, under no circumstances, term the killing animals for food as inhumane. Animals do not undergo torture in the butcheries, but rather they die fast because of the technological means of their execution. In considering both perspectives on animal rearing for food, animals should be kept for food consumption, particularly because of the benefits of such a practice. Although some skepticism regarding the keeping and consumption of animals, animals provide better protein, than plants, and they can service in harsh environments.

Brave New World - Summary Essay -- essays research papers

Basic Plot: This novel takes place in the year 632 A.F. The government controls the population of Utopia, there are only test tube births and an artificial process for multiplying the embryos. Marriage is forbidden. There are ten World Controllers; these people control the government and all of their plans. In the very beginning there are students being given a guided party line tour through the London Hatcheries. Two employees that work there are Henry Foster and Lenina Crowne, they have been dating each other too much and are discouraged by the state. So Lenina’s best friend, Fanny, picks on her because of this. Lenina then meets Bernard Marx, and grows to like him so much that she agrees to go on a vacation with him to a New Mexican Savage Reservation. This is a place where people are sent to if they do not abide to the laws of the Utopian world. This is where problems begin to happen and the Director of Hatcheries, Tomakin, threatens exile to Marx if he does not mend his ways, for he has become very out spoken. While at this reservation Lenina and Bernard meet a savage, John, and his mother Linda. From talking to John and Linda, Bernard pieces together their past. He finds out that Linda traveled to the Reservation with Tomakin years ago and became pregnant; therefore Tomakin left her at the reservation never to see her again. Linda gave birth, to John, therefore breaking a law and never being permitted to enter Utopia again. Bernard and Lenina brought Linda and John back to Utopia with the permission of one of the World Controllers. When they arrive home Bernard finds out that the Directors o Hatcheries is about to exile him, then which Marx produces John and Linda that greet him as son and wife. Tomakin then resigned in disgrace. Bernard and a friend, Helmholtz Watson, help to adjust John to Utopia, and spend each day showing off Utopia to him. John becomes more disgusted and appalled with each passing day. Mean while, Lenina has become infatuated with John and made sexual advances toward him, and this ruins his image of her as an object of worship, so he spurns her. Soon his mother died and John went berserk and tried to lecture the Utopians back to sanity. A riot takes place and Bernard and Helmholtz are exiled, but John is ordered to stay behind. John is determined to escape Utopia and flees to a deserted spot outside London. But Utopia come... ... book I felt both shock and disappointment. The ending shocked me, but I have to say that it was my favorite part of the book and I really don’t care for any other parts of the book. I was disappointed that the book ended like that and so suddenly. Also I was sort of hoping and thinking that there would have been a happy ending, where both John and Lenina ended up together, or that the Utopians would of changed their ways of life. I would recommend this book to someone whom likes to read science fiction books about the future, because this book could be a possibility of how the future will be. Also a science fiction book like this would be enjoyed by people who like to read science fiction books because it is a very technical and realistic novel, written by a descriptive author. In the year of 1932 quite a lot was beginning to take place nationally and around the world. In the U.S. Franklin D. Roosevelt had just been elected the Presidential Office. The open-air theater opened with ‘Merrie England’. And over in Germany the beginning of Nazis was starting to take action, with Adolf Hitler as their leader. This is just a few events that were taking place during the year of 1932.

The Significance of Literary Knowledge in Parodic Poetry...

A precritical response to any literature can be loosely defined as the initial raw, emotional reaction to the piece. The feeling of confusion, disgust, impassiveness, or pure joy can follow any reading. On the other hand, a critical response is a critical evaluation or, more specifically, an intellectual response to a piece of literature. Critically thinking about a piece of literature involves taking the work and breaking it down into different parts, thus aiding in understanding the work and specific parts of it to the work as a whole. However, this is easier said than done. Being able to think critically about a text takes a vast knowledge of literature and a keen eye to recognize patterns, and each form comes with its own difficulties†¦show more content†¦Hecht’s poem employs the use of a framed narrative to tell the perspective of the woman in the room. It is from her perspective that allows the reader to see where the title of the poem, The Dover Bitch, comes in to play. The speaker says, â€Å"†¦[she] really felt sad, thinking about all the wine and enormous beds†¦and then she got really angry. To have been brought all the way down from London, and then be addressed as a sort of mournful cosmic last resort†¦Ã¢â‚¬ (Hecht, lines 13-18). From here, the reader is led to understand that the woman could really care less about what the speaker from Dover Beach was saying. She was more preoccupied with missing her materialistic lifestyle in London, or being so close to France and all of the extravagancies it has to offer. In Dover Beach the speaker pleads to the woman, â€Å"†¦let us be true to one another! For the world†¦hath really neither joy, nor love†¦Ã¢â‚¬ (Arnold, 29-33). The speaker of The Dover Bitch, at the end of the poem, claims to see the woman from time to time, suggesting that he is secretly her lover. By doing this Hecht, sets up a type of dramatic irony between the two poems. The speaker asked h er to be true to him, and unbeknownst to him she was cheating with the speaker of The Dover Bitch. Thus, a critical analysis of The Dover Bitch can conclude that Hecht was criticizing the idea of Arnold’s poem that love can overcome the sadness and hurt that the world produces, because in the end love can be just as hurtful
